Wetumpka Sports Complex
Wetumpka is home to a state-of-the-art sports complex continually undergoing enhancements and additions because of the active community that calls the area home. The sports complex, located on the Coosa River Parkway, was built with a variety of recreation in mind and, today, houses a baseball complex, softball complex, archery, brand new football stadium featuring a college level track and fully stocked ponds. The plans for soccer fields and tennis courts are currently underway. There’s also a children’s playground nearby.
After spending the day at the complex catching and releasing fish or supporting loved ones in a game, enjoy the scenic views of the nearby Coosa River by strolling along the riverwalk connecting you to the City’s new farmers market facility.
Wetumpka’s love and appreciation for the outdoors can be found in abundance, and the community’s innovative sports complex is an excellent example of this!
